“For years I’ve been longing to do the Kimberley cruise and have just achieved this. – aged 81. It was the best holiday experience of my life. Thanks to both of you for your vision and hard work over years to provide such magic. I know we were especially lucky at this time of year with wonderful sailing weather but the real success was due to the planning and organisation for this trip being outstanding. I’d no idea the scenery would be so breathtaking and varied and the birds and wildlife just wonderful too. I did appreciate the choice of expeditions and activities, with all the crew and guest staff friendly and helpful – and funny! Again we were lucky with a great group of friendly passengers and meal times were a real pleasure for this solo traveller – and I’m still dreaming about the food…. People are asking what made this holiday so special and I think it was the extra thoughtfulness that was evident throughout. Although I’ve done the feedback form I just wanted to thank you personally.”
“With my husband Ben we were with the Coral Princess on the cruise from Broome to Darwin on April 21st this year. This cruise was the most enjoyable one we have ever had, mainly due to the very caring Captain Angus, crew, staff, team leaders and fellow passengers. Team leader Lea did tell us all that we were not on a holiday, but an expedition that we would really appreciate – how true those words were. We have not stopped telling everyone that this cruise is the one that everyone should try to take. While we have caravanned around our great country twice, what we were able to experience was so different and reached all those wonderful places that you cannot reach be car. Again our very sincere thanks.”
“I have just returned from this cruise and it was the most amazing experience on many levels. Firstly the crew were an outstanding, professional unit. All were friendly, helpful and carried out their duties with class. Purser Tanya is an amazing asset to this team and I am sure her professionalism brings out the best of her staff. The Expedition leader, Steve, had a wealth of knowledge and made sure we were always safe. Ian and Martin, the guest lecturers were outstanding. Their knowledge and the ability to share that with us was much appreciated. Two very special people. We were also lucky to have friendly fellow passengers and in some cases life friendships were formed. All in all, we shared some wonderful experiences and had lots of fun. Thank you from my son and I for providing such a unique, professionally run expedition. Congratulations. This was a trip of a life time.”
“I am writing to you today to tell you that my husband and I have recently returned from a Kimberley cruise aboard the Coral Discoverer. We were both extremely impressed with every aspect. From the initial greetings to our final farewell and everything in between. The staff was excellent. Lots of smiling faces to greet you from the engine crew to the Master, Alex. Tanya, the Purser and Nicole her deputy a well ordered and happy crew. Always willing to please. Must also mention Steve, the Expedition Leader, worked really hard to make everything enjoyable. A couple of the passengers had health issues but everything was done so that even they did not miss out on any of the adventures they wanted to take. The itinerary had something for everyone. The food catered for everyone and was well presented. The ship was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Can I also comment on the two guest lecturers, Ian and Martin. This was Martin’s first trip but it only took him a short while to get into his stride. All I can say about Ian is Wow. What a font of knowledge he has and such an entertaining way of passing on that gift. You really need to look after a treasure like him. This was a trip Michael and I have wanted to do for a long time and we are extremely happy that our travel agent suggested Coral Expeditions and the Coral Discoverer. Once again thank you for a truly great experience and a lifetime of memories. The Kimberley is a magnificent part of our vast country.”
“As a passenger on your Coral Expeditions cruise that departed Darwin on 5 September for Broome this year, I write to express my joy and thanks in having been able to experience the trip of a life time. For someone who was apprehensive about cruise holidays those 10 days proved to me that small ship cruising can be, in a word “great”. It is obvious that in the 31 years your company has been operating, you have gained the experience that showed you have your finger on the pulse for knowing your passengers needs and expectations in the area in which you operate and as a result of their Exploring and Discoveries their Dreams are fulfilled. Management set the policies, procedures and organisation however it’s the people “at the coal face” who make it work. In your case that’s the crew. I realise I am but one voice, however I know I speak for all the passengers on that cruise when I write to express my deep gratitude for their skill, attention to detail, pleasant and friendly attitude and their knowledge and experience in their various jobs. That also extends to our two guests lecturers Mike and Tim. If ever a crew is worthy of a tourism award they are the ones. To your company and “the crew” I say thanks for the memories and the overall experience.”
