Silversea Cruise

Dear Veronica and Ross, Thanks for this email, you got in first as I was going to send you an email this morning once we had settled back into ‘real’ life. Peter and I want to thank you Ross for recommending the Scenic Eclipse II and to thank you Veronica for your support in preparing for the trip. What can we say other than it was perfection, a life altering and mind blowing experience from beginning to end. I am not even sure where to start in describing our holiday, from the moment we arrived in Broome to the moment we stepped off the yacht in Darwin, everything was incredible. The Scenic 11 is absolutely world class and beyond, and as you said right up front Ross, the cabins and verandahs were spacious and uber luxurious and exquisitely appointed. The spa /sauna facilities were world class, Peter spent a lot of relaxing time there and kept remarking on how incredible the whole set up was. I totally agree with him. The gym was amazing too. The food is beyond anything we could have anticipated, it was the best we have eaten anywhere on our travels, both here and overseas. The choice of restaurants, the level of service, the food itself ( the sushi, the sashimi, the oysters, the lobster and I could go on and on) the settings of each restaurant, the wines and drinks. The bar itself is a work of art – the selection was world class again. And the barmen were world class too. Amongst all these highlights however for us, the defining feature was the Scenic staff, the crew and the incredible Discovery Team. Each and every one of them was a standout, their attention to detail, their delight in their work, their genuine interaction with the guests was totally amazing. This trip has changed us both – we were humbled by the scenery of the wild and wonderful Kimberley region, it has to be seen to be believed ( and from the air too – the helicopter ride was another highlight) Out trip will remain with us for a very long time. thanks to you both again – we will be back on the Scenic 11 again.

Well, it has been wonderful! We just loved Scenic Eclipse II. You were so right in suggesting we go on that ship, Ross. Everything was perfect – cabin, food, drinks, zodiac adventures but mostly the wonderfully friendly staff in all parts of the ship. We ended up doing four(!!!!) Helicopter flights, all wonderful. The Willy Creek Pearl Farm we had pre booked. Then we did 3 sightseeing trips. The two pilots were so obliging and informative. Peter declined doing a fishing trip as he was wondering how he would manage the terrain.
