Cruise details

A set itinerary is difficult to follow due to the large tidal movements of the Kimberley coast. So in the best interest and comfort of our passengers, we set our itineraries on a day by day basis. We travel mainly during daylight hours, ensuring you will not miss any of the spectacular scenery along the way.

Broome

Board the luxurious Lady M, a 31m custom built vessel designed for cruising the Kimberley Coast in comfort and style. Every cabin is en-suite, air-conditioned and consists of a queen size bed with single bunk above. Enjoy the hospitality of the Lady M as you take in your first spectacular Kimberley sunset.

Over the next 5 days and nights relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Kimberley including:

Fishing

Fishing is enjoyed on each day and the catch is cooked on the barbecue while you enjoy a drink and chat around the bar.

Silica Beach

Enjoy a dip in the pristine turquoise water or a barefoot walk on the pure white sand of Silica Beach. Treat yourself to a body scrub as you sit on the water’s edge. Enjoy the peace and remoteness of this area as you take in the view of the colourful surrounding sandstone rocks.

Crocodile Creek

Take a short ride in the tenders along the creek to the waterfall for a relaxing or invigorating swim surrounded by nature. The Koolan Island mine workers made this their own playground and swimming pool many years ago but now happily share it with those of us fortunate enough to be passing by.

Montgomery Reef

Montgomery Reef, jewel of the Kimberley Coast. Enjoy an up-close tour in the tenders as we watch the water cascading to expose the more than 400 sq km of coral reef. Spot the turtles as they poke their heads up for a quick look at their visitors.

Raft Point

Catch the tender dingy to Raft Point mainland where the 30 minute climb up the red sandstone bluff will reward you with an exceptional ancient Wandjina art site. On your way back down the bluff enjoy the spectacular view of Steep Island from under the huge boab tree.

Ruby Falls

Ruby Falls is accessed by Red Cone Creek. A dinghy excursion along this mangrove-lined creek includes spotting the odd crocodile along the banks and other wildlife. A freshwater swim awaits you in crystal clear water under the lovely cool Ruby waterfall.

Horizontal Falls, Talbot Bay

Experience a thrilling ride in a specifically designed 500hp boat through Horizontal Falls. Be amazed at the tidal power of this natural phenomenon. Spend a relaxing hour or two touring Cyclone Creek surrounded by nature’s magnificent ancient cliffs. Observe the gentle lemon sharks surround the boat and feed the fish in Cyclone creek.

Seaplane return to Broome

Anchor overnight in the calm waters of Red Cone Bay for your seaplane flight departure the following morning, returning you to Broome Airport.

NOTE: this tour also runs in reverse. With reverse tours your departure from Broome is via seaplane to meet the Lady M at Horizontal Falls or Red Cone Bay. Join the Lady M for 5 days/nights of cruising which encompasses the above destinations and ends in Broome.
